About Lauren and Plants

My Story

Hi, I’m Lauren, a plant stylist, workshop host, and the founder of Lauren and Plants, based in Fort Worth, Texas. After fourteen years as a Deaf Education teacher, I followed my passion for plants and created a business rooted in thoughtful interior plant design, hands-on terrarium workshops, and meaningful connection to nature.

Lauren and Plants was built to help people connect with greenery in simple, approachable, and intentional ways. I believe plants have the power to transform spaces and the way we feel in them, and I love helping others experience that.

What I Do

My work includes interior plant styling, ongoing plant maintenance, terrarium workshops, and sourcing unique plants for homes and businesses across Fort Worth and Dallas. I also offer plant staging and short-term plant rentals for events, photo shoots, and real estate, helping spaces feel polished, welcoming, and lived-in.

Whether I am designing a warm office lobby, refreshing a home with plants that fit a client’s lifestyle, staging a space for an event or listing, or guiding a group through a hands-on begonia terrarium workshop, my goal is always the same: to create plant-filled spaces that feel thoughtful, balanced, and personal.

My Approach

Plants have always been more than decor to me. They are living reminders that growth takes time, care, and patience. My approach to plant styling and teaching is creative, intentional, and rooted in mindfulness, blending my background in education with my love for nature.

I focus on plant care and design that feels supportive rather than overwhelming, with the goal of helping plants thrive long-term, not just look good on day one.

Community & Connection

When I am not styling plants or leading workshops, you can usually find me exploring local plant shops, attending community markets and events, caring for my collection of more than two hundred houseplants, or spending time with my two tiny dogs, Kaia and Pippa. I also spend time at the gym, which has become a grounding part of my routine and a way I care for my own growth and well-being.

I am grateful to be part of the Fort Worth and Dallas plant community and to connect with people who appreciate plants as much as I do. Thank you for being here and for taking the time to learn more about my story and my work.

Lauren and Plants is built on community, growth, and creativity, and I would love for you to be a part of it. Let’s create something beautiful together.
