Meet Lauren
Hi, I'm Lauren, the founder of Lauren and Plants.
After fourteen years as a Deaf Education teacher, I followed my passion for plants and created a business rooted in thoughtful interior plant design, meaningful education, and helping people feel more connected to nature. What began as a love for houseplants has grown into a business that designs, installs, and maintains beautiful indoor plant collections for homes and businesses throughout Fort Worth and the greater Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Lauren and Plants was built on the belief that plants have the power to transform both spaces and the people who spend time in them. My goal is to create environments that feel welcoming, intentional, and easy to enjoy while helping clients feel confident caring for their plants long after installation.

Lauren and Plants specializes in interior plant design, ongoing plant maintenance, plant sourcing, and private workshops for homes and businesses.
Whether I'm designing a welcoming office, refreshing a client's home, sourcing the perfect plants for a new space, or leading a hands-on workshop, every recommendation is tailored to the lighting, lifestyle, and goals of the people using the space. I believe beautiful plant design should also be practical, sustainable, and designed to thrive over time.
Whether I am designing a warm office lobby, refreshing a home with plants that fit a client’s lifestyle, staging a space for an event or listing, or guiding a group through a hands-on begonia terrarium workshop, my goal is always the same: to create plant-filled spaces that feel thoughtful, balanced, and personal.
-
Plants are never just decoration to me.
Every project begins with understanding the space, the people who use it, and the experience they want to create. My background in education taught me to listen carefully, solve problems thoughtfully, and help others feel supported, and those same values guide every consultation, design, and maintenance visit.
I believe the best plant collections are the ones that become a natural part of everyday life, bringing beauty, calm, and connection without feeling overwhelming.
I focus on plant care and design that feels supportive rather than overwhelming, with the goal of helping plants thrive long-term, not just look good on day one.
-
When I'm not designing plant-filled spaces or caring for clients' collections, you'll usually find me exploring local plant shops, spending time caring for my own collection of houseplants, or at the gym. My two dogs, Kaia and Pippa, are never far away and are usually keeping me company while I work from home.
Fort Worth has become home in every sense of the word, and I'm grateful to be part of a community that values creativity, small businesses, and meaningful connections. Whether we're working together on a home, a business, or a private workshop, my hope is that every client feels welcomed, supported, and inspired throughout the process.
Thank you for being here. I look forward to helping you bring more life into your space.
