Great Plant Design Is Not About Filling Empty Corners
Plants can make almost any room feel better.
But there is a difference between placing a plant in a room and actually designing with plants.
Thoughtful interior plant design in Fort Worth considers the architecture of the space, natural light, scale, plant care requirements, planter style, and the way people move through the room.
The goal is to make the plants feel like they belong there.
Start With the Space, Not the Plant
It is easy to fall in love with a plant at a nursery and try to figure out where to put it afterward.
Professional plant design works in the opposite direction.
First, we look at the space.
How much natural light does it receive?
How tall are the ceilings?
Does the room need height, softness, movement, or texture?
How much plant care does the client realistically want to manage?
Then plants are selected to fit those conditions.
That is how a plant collection becomes both beautiful and sustainable.
Residential Interior Plant Design
In homes, plants can soften architectural lines, fill visual gaps, create focal points, and make rooms feel warmer and more finished.
A custom residential plant design may include:
• Statement floor plants
• Plants for shelving and built ins
• Coordinated decorative planters
• Plant placement recommendations
• Plant sourcing
• Professional installation
• Integration of existing plants
Lauren and Plants designs each collection around the home's light, style, and the client's lifestyle rather than using the same plant formula in every space. LAUREN AND PLANTS
Commercial Plant Design in DFW
Commercial spaces have different needs.
Plants in an office, restaurant, hotel, salon, or retail environment need to work visually while also handling real world conditions like traffic, changing temperatures, artificial lighting, and maintenance schedules.
Professional commercial plant design in Fort Worth and DFW can help businesses create spaces that feel more welcoming, polished, and intentional.
Plants can support a brand's atmosphere without becoming one more thing the business owner has to manage.
And for commercial clients who want the space to continue looking polished, ongoing maintenance can be built into the plan.
Design, Source, Install, Maintain
A successful plant project is more than choosing varieties from a list.
Lauren and Plants can help with the entire process, including plant selection, planter sourcing, procurement, preparation, installation, styling, and ongoing plant maintenance.
That creates a finished result that looks intentional on installation day and has a better chance of thriving long term.
