Terrarium Workshop Dallas–Fort Worth: A Night of Creativity and Connection
Hiii cuties!
Last week, I hosted one of my favorite workshops yet — a terrarium night filled with laughter, creativity, and calm energy. 🌿
Every time I host a workshop, I’m reminded of why I decided to do this: to share my love of plants, connect with others, and create space for people to slow down and enjoy something beautiful. Whether you’re in Dallas, Fort Worth, or Irving, I hope these gatherings inspire you to create a little green sanctuary of your own.
The Heart Behind the Workshop
These terrarium nights don’t just happen overnight. They come together through months of collecting and propagating begonias, hours of research and practice, and a whole lot of intention poured into every small detail — from soil layering to decorative touches.
There’s something deeply grounding about preparing these events. Before this workshop began, I felt an overwhelming sense of calm — the kind that tells you you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
Moments I’ll Never Forget
Some of my favorite memories from the evening still make me smile:
🌱 Someone said, “I feel like I’m playing in the dirt like when I was a kid.” That’s exactly the energy I hope people feel — playful, connected, and present.
💎 And when I gave everyone a crystal to set an intention, Eddie dropped his and said, “Ah! My intention!” 🤣 It was one of those perfectly light, human moments that made the room erupt in laughter.
Those are the kinds of moments that make these workshops so special — the ones that blend creativity, connection, and a little humor along the way.
What I Hope You Take Home
Each terrarium we build is a reflection of its creator — thoughtful, unique, and full of potential. My biggest hope is that everyone who attended feels a sense of pride and peace when they see their terrarium thriving on a shelf or table at home.
It’s more than a plant project — it’s a living reminder to slow down, nurture something, and celebrate growth. 🌿
Join Me for the Next Workshop
If you missed this one, don’t worry — my next event is coming soon! I’ll be hosting a Spooky Terrarium Workshop on October 26th at The Floral Eclectic Studio in Irving, TX.
We’ll be leaning into all things moody and magical — think autumn tones, creative textures, and a little Halloween flair. 👻🪴
If you’re in the Fort Worth, Dallas, or Irving area and have been wanting to try something new, this is the perfect way to unwind, get creative, and take home a living piece of art.
Why These Workshops Matter
For me, these gatherings are more than events — they’re community. Every person who shows up, every story shared, and every plant carefully tucked into layers of moss and texture reminds me that connection can grow anywhere — even inside a terrarium.
If you’ve been curious about joining, come to the next one. You don’t need any plant experience — just a love for nature, creativity, and good company.
A Special Thank You
I also want to give a special thank you to Maple Branch Craft Brewery for allowing me to host in their beautiful space. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and it was such a joy partnering with them for this workshop. The cozy atmosphere, great drinks, and kind staff made it the perfect setting for creativity and connection. 🍻🌿
